Hide

You attempt to blend into your surroundings or slip out of an enemy's line of sight. To perform this activity, you must have access to cover or concealment.

Roll+AGI. You gain favour if the area is heavily obscured or poorly lit. You suffer slight if you are attempting to hide from a foe who is actively searching for you.

• Complete Success: You are Hidden. In addition, choose one Good Thing from the list below.
• Success: You are Hidden from view. Foes cannot target you directly with attacks or effects that require line of sight.
• Partial Success: You made some noise or left a trail. You are Hidden, but you must choose one Bad Thing from the list below.
• Failure: You fail to find a good spot; you remain visible to your enemies.
• Complete Failure: Your attempt to hide is obvious. Not only are you seen, but you cannot attempt to Hide again until the end of your next turn.

• You find a “Sniper's Nest”; you gain favour on your next ranged attack.
• The first foe to enter your zone is surprised, granting you a Counterattack against them.

• You knocked something over, or otherwise attracted attention; your next attempt to Hide suffers slight.
• You are cramped in your hiding spot, and become Staggered.
