Partial Success: The Shield forms, but is fragile and easily disrupted. Your chosen foe suffers slight to their next attack roll made against you, after which the Shield dissipates. The Shield also dissipates at the start of your next turn.
Failure: The Shield does not form.
Complete Failure: The Shield does not form, and you must choose a Bad Thing from your class list.
