You have learned the secrets of wood and magical cores, allowing you to create a wand shaped to cast a single spell.
Choose a spell from your Grimoire whose level is no higher than your Magician level. Creating a wand shaped to cast this spell requires raw materials and Success Points as listed below.
| Spell Level | 1 | 3 | 5 | 7 | 9 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Raw Materials Cost | 10cp | 50cp | 100cp | 150cp | 250cp |
| Success Points | 3 | 5 | 8 | 12 | 18 |
You may spend one hour as a rest activity Crafting a Wand. When you have accumulated sufficient Success Points, the wand is complete. If you accumulate three Failure Points, however, the wand is ruined.
A completed wand has three Tolerance points.
A character who can Cast a Spell may Cast the spell embedded in the wand, and need not have it prepared, or even be a caster of the same Discipline. The wand must be held in one hand, and the user need not have a free hand to Cast the Spell. The caster follows all the normal rules for Casting a Spell with the wand, save that the only Bad Thing that they may select is:
If the target of a spell must Avoid Danger imposed by the spell, they may select the above Bad Thing as though it were a Good Thing for them.
