====== Character Creation ======

Before you can begin play, you must start by creating your character.  Your character is your avatar in the game;  it has strengths and limitations as defined by your choices when building the character, and can improve over time.

The character creation process is relatively simple:
  * Choose an [[ironbound:ancestry:index|Ancestry]], [[ironbound:background:index|Background]] and [[ironbound:characters:class:index|Class]], in any order.
  * Distribute thirty points among your [[ironbound:attributes|attribute]] values.  No single attribute may receive more than twenty points at this stage.
  * Spend 150 [[ironbound:equipment:currency:currency|copper pence]] on any equipment that you desire.
