====== Scribe Scroll ======

You have learned how to pen magical scrolls.  You may spend one to five hours as a {{tagpage>rest}} or {{tagpage>down_time}} activity to scribe a scroll.  The spell on the scroll must come from your Grimoire, and cannot be higher level than yourself.  The cost to craft the scroll is based on the level of the spell.

Magical scrolls may be used once to [[ironbound:rules:activities:cast_a_spell|Cast the Spell]] scribed onto it, and then the energy discharged into the spell destroys the scroll.  They must be held in one hand to cast, but do not require a free hand.  Anyone capable of Casting a Spell may use a scroll, regardless of their Discipline of Magic.  Spells cast from a scroll still require a casting check, but never gain Good Things nor provoke Bad Things.
