Take Down-Time
Down-time represents days or weeks of relative safety spent within a **friendly community**. This activity cannot be performed in the wilderness or in hostile territory. It requires access to markets, lodgings, and social infrastructure.

**Eating a Meal**: Each day that you spend in Down-Time, you must mark off one day of rations, or else pay two copper pence for shelter and food while you are in the community. If you fail to do so, you become Hungry.

For every day spent in Down-Time, you may perform twelve hours of rest or down-time activities, which can include the following:
* ironbound:rules:activities:Craft an Item
* ironbound:rules:activities:Do Some Research
* ironbound:rules:activities:Earn Income
* ironbound:rules:activities:Forge a Document
* ironbound:rules:activities:Gain a Level
* ironbound:rules:activities:Gather Information
* ironbound:rules:activities:Go Shopping
* ironbound:rules:activities:Recover Stamina
* ironbound:rules:activities:Repair an Item

Alternately, you can spend an entire day Taking Bed Rest.
