Take A Long Rest
A Long Rest is a period of extended relaxation and sleep lasting at least **twelve hours**. During this time, the following schedule must be observed:
* Eight hours must be spent sleeping or in deep meditation. The character recovers all lost stamina during this time.
* One hour must be spent on personal maintenance, such as eating a meal or cleaning equipment.
* The remaining three hours may be used for Rest Activities.

**Eating a Meal**: You must mark off one day of rations, or else pay two copper pennies for shelter and food if you are in a friendly community. If you fail to do so, you become ironbound:conditions:Hungry.

Rest Activities
The three hours of active time during a Long rest can be spent on up to three 1-hour Rest Activities, such as the following:
* ironbound:rules:activities:Craft an Item.
* ironbound:rules:activities:Forge a Document.
* ironbound:rules:activities:Gain a Level in an existing class.
* ironbound:rules:activities:Keep a Watch.
* ironbound:rules:activities:Repair an Item.
