Repair An Item
You spend time focused on restoring the structural integrity of a piece of gear. This activity requires appropriate tools and a relatively safe environment. Note that a ironbound:conditions:Destroyed item is beyond the scope of this activity and cannot be salvaged through simple repairs.

**Roll+EDU**.

* **Complete Success**: The repair is masterfully executed. An item that is ironbound:conditions:Damaged becomes ironbound:conditions:Dented. An item that is ironbound:conditions:Dented or ironbound:conditions:Broken is fully repaired and loses that trait.
* **Success**: You make significant progress. An item that is ironbound:conditions:Damaged recovers one level to ironbound:conditions:Broken. An item that is ironbound:conditions:Broken becomes ironbound:conditions:Dented. An item that was ironbound:conditions:Dented loses this condition, and is fully repaired.
* **Partial Success**: You manage a makeshift fix. An item that is ironbound:conditions:Broken recovers one level to ironbound:conditions:Dented. An item that was ironbound:conditions:Dented loses this condition, and is fully repaired.
* **Failure**: You make little headway. You may remove the ironbound:conditions:Dented condition from an item, but more significant damage remains untouched.
* **Complete Failure**: You fumble the repair. If the item is not already Damaged, its condition worsens by one step (e.g., ironbound:conditions:Dented becomes Broken).
