Secrets of the Arcane
**Requires**: Self Study

While others rest, you study. While others debate, you experiment. And while others repeat what they have been taught, you discover what they have yet to learn. Choose three Arcane Spells of a level no higher than your Magician level, and add them to your Grimoire.

Choose one spell in your Grimoire of a level lower than your Magician level, and one trait that can modify that spell. You need not possess the chosen Spell Shaping trait, and it need not be limited to those available to the Magician class. Whenever you cast the chosen spell, it is treated as though that Spell Shaping had been applied, save that the casting time is not affected((Because casting time is not affected, there is no point in selecting ironbound:characters:traits:quickened_caster.)).
