Feats of Strength

Your character's Body attribute represents their physical strength, endurance, and overall vitality. This section outlines the various challenges and tasks that test a character's Body attribute. From lifting heavy objects to breaking through barriers, these feats showcase the raw power and resilience of your character.

Lifting

The amount that your character can lift is based on their One-Hand Lift statistic. This statistic is found by adding ten to your character's Athletics skill bonus, and is expressed in kilograms. If you are a member of a Small ancestry, such as a Gnome, your One-Hand Lift is equal to your character's Athletics skill bonus plus five.

As a one-second action, you can pick up an object from the floor or another surface in one hand, so long as its weight is no greater than your One-Hand Lift. Almost every weapon or shield you might want to grab in this manner is well under your One-Hand Lift in weight.

As a two-second action, you may pick up an object whose weight is up to twice your One-Hand Lift. This represents your character adopting a posture to make it easier to lift the item.

As a six-second action, you may pick up an object whose weight is up to three times your One-Hand Lift.

If you use two hands to pick up an object, you may add twice your One-Hand Lift. The one bonus addition of One-Hand Lift is to represent your ability to brace the object between hands.

If you have more than two hands, each additional hand allows you to add your One-Hand Lift to the maximum weight you can pick up.
