You touch an object, and choose one kind of material within it—wood, metal, stone, earth, water, whatever. The object cannot be a living being, or even an undead being, but golems and elementals are fair game.
You can mold and craft the chosen kind of material with your hands, as though it were modelling clay. Gravity and other outside forces affect it normally, even as you craft it. This can be slow going, but if you have access to this spell as you begin to Craft an Item or Repair An Item, you take favour on the skill check to do so.
In each round, you could move one cubic meter of your chosen material a distance of up to two meters, simply digging through the material like a mole through earth.
Even though you can mold the material in question, you cannot affect any other material in the same object without re-casting the spell. For example, if you targeted the wood in a door, you could not affect the metal in its hinges or latch.
