Choose a single, specific concept or truth within the area of effect (e.g., “The king is a just ruler,” “The sun rises in the east,” or “Water is wet”). Reality Reversal creates a localized, temporary distortion of reality, causing the chosen concept to be perceived as its opposite by all creatures within the area. It does not change the nature of reality, only its perception. The caster of the spell also declares the alternate perception, with the major limitation that the effect must be the opposite of the reality of the chosen concept.
Any creature within the radius of the spell is automatically affected, with no saving throw! However, if an individual affected by the spell is provided clear evidence that contradicts the subject of the spell, they may make an Education saving throw against the Spellcasting skill TN of the caster.
- Success: The affected individual throws off the effect of the spell.
- Failure: The affected individual still believes the delusion, but gains favour on further saving throws to throw off the effect.
So long as this spell is in effect, it cannot be cast again by the same caster. If you want to change the concept altered by the spell, you must End the Spell and then Cast the Spell again.
