You attempt to bring the character back to life. This requires a minimum of one minute. Make a Spellcasting skill check.

• Success: You return the creature to life, with zero hit points of damage. Completing the Resurrection requires a further one minute per hit point of damage the creature had suffered.
• Failure: The creature's spirit has ventured too far into the Echoing Lands, and cannot be recalled. You may not try this spell again on that creature.

Note that Elves instantly depart the Echoing Lands upon death, rendering the Resurrection spell ineffective for them.
