Magic

Magic is the lifeblood of the extraordinary, a force that weaves through the fabric of reality itself. It is an ancient power, drawn from the primal energies of the earth, the heavens, and the unseen realms beyond. Those who can harness this force—whether through rigorous study, innate talent, or divine gift—are capable of performing feats that defy the natural order. From conjuring fire with a whisper to calling forth spirits with a gesture, magic allows its practitioners to reshape the world around them. However, this power comes with great responsibility and peril, as the misuse of magic can lead to catastrophic consequences. Magic is both a gift and a burden, a tool for heroes and villains alike, shaping destinies and altering the course of history.

In order to perform magic, your character must belong to a character class that has the ability to cast spells. You can have such a class as your primary class, reflecting a dedication to the study of magic, or you can select such a class as Hybrid Training.

Alchemy

Where magic thrives on volatility and the unpredictable whims of the arcane, alchemy offers a path paved with precision and reliability. Alchemists are not merely spellcasters wielding a different tool; they are meticulous crafters who utilize exotic materials and arcane processes to achieve remarkable transformations.

Arcane Magic

In the world of magic, there exists a tradition that shuns the flashy and the obvious. It prefers the subtle, the understated, and the subdued. This is the Arcane Tradition. Its practitioners weave spells that are as intricate as they are potent, often working in the shadows to achieve their goals. The Arcane Tradition values precision, control, and discretion, and its spells reflect these principles. Whether conjuring powerful wards to protect their allies or summoning creatures from other planes of existence, Arcane Mages are masters of their arts, and their magic is not to be underestimated.

Divine Magic

Most of those who practice Divine Magic believe that their magic comes directly from their deity. Not everybody is convinced, however. Regardless, the faith held by the practitioners from this magic seems to be genuine, and whether it is that, or the literal hand of the divine, their spells are effective, supportive, powerful and real.

Divine magic is split into thirty-six Divinities. Every Templar receives four of these, and can gain an additional three. Their exact selection is dependant upon their choice of deity.
