Tincture of Scales

This Concoction causes the imbiber to grow scales. As fast as the scales are broken by weapon attacks, they grow back again. Part of the high cost for this Tincture is the need for a drop of dragon's blood as an ingredient.

At the start of the imbiber’s turn, they gain ten temporary hit points. Remember that temporary hit points never stack; a new allotment replaces a character’s temporary hit points, rather than being added to it.

Elixir: The Concoction lasts until the end of the current encounter.

Salve: The Concoction can be applied in expectation of battle, and if this is done, it will last until the end of the next encounter. If applied during an encounter, it will only last until the end of the current encounter.

Increased Complexity: At Complexity 4, the imbiber gains fifteen temporary it points at the start of each turn; at Complexity 5, they gain twenty.
