Your mastery of combat techniques allows you to turn defense into offense with swift and precise parries. With a deft flick of your weapon or shield, you intercept incoming attacks and retaliate with deadly accuracy, turning the tide of battle in your favour.

As a reaction to being hit by an attack, you can expend one Grit to attempt a Parry. Make an attack roll, and if your roll exceeds the attack roll that hit you, you successfully parry the blow and take no damage, even if your foe's attack inflicts damage on a miss. Your foe becomes Open until the end of their next turn.
