Years of facing death on the battlefield have honed your senses to a razor's edge. You read the subtle shifts in posture, the twitch of an eyebrow, the faintest tremor in the hand gripping a weapon. Before your foe even considers striking, you've anticipated their move, a step ahead in the deadly dance of combat.

When you are targeted by a melee attack, you may use your reaction to make an Insight skill check. If your Insight skill check total is higher than the foe's total attack roll, you predicted their attack, and may Shift a distance of up to half your Speed (rounded \fIup\fR). The foe's attack fails, and you gain one Panache.
