You may Shift one meter, and then make a melee basic attack against any adjacent foe. Then Shift one meter again, and again make a melee basic attack against any adjacent foe. Then Shift one more meter, and again make a melee basic attack against any adjacent foe. This totals three meters of Shift, plus three basic melee attacks.
