Druid
“The forces of nature are my ally. And through me, their will shall be done, regardless of those who stand in our way.”
The secretive Orders of the Druids are primarily found within the more northern parts of the Realms, where forests and rivers abound, but individual Druids have been found throughout the Realms. They are religious Orders, who follow ancient deities of nature and the hunt, but they are also the keepers of secrets and guardians of the wild. The stereotypical Druid, a wild-haired tree-hugging savage, is very much a product of popular imagination, and one that the Druids encourage, with no small amounts of amusement.
In fact, the Druidic Orders predate the Empire of Aranor, and survived its persecution and eventual fall. They kept books and scrolls hidden from the Inquisition, preserving their secrets for later generations. And they wait for a time to come when their faith will be rewarded.
But in the meantime, they make use of their magics to aid the common folk and protect the wild areas. They are conservators of the land, protectors of peasants and servants of the gods of nature. They answer to no lord, and have no use for kings and princes.
Attributes
When you select Druid as your Class, increase your Foresight by +1. Your choice of Druidic Order will grant you a second attribute improvement.
Stamina
When you select this class, increase your maximum stamina by twenty-five, plus five times your Body score. Your recoveries are equal to six plus your Body score.
Training
You are trained in shields. You receive one training rank in each of Blades, Bows, Nature, Religion, Survival and Unbalanced Weapons. Choose a number of Skills equal to three plus your Education score from the following list: Athletics, Crafting, History, Insight, Intimidation, Lore, Medicine, Perception, Stealth. You receive one training rank in each of the selected Skills.
Druids learn a secret language, called Druidic. It cannot be learned by anybody who is not themselves a Druid. A considerable amount of magical power is tied up in maintaining this secret; if a person has not taken the Oaths of a Druidic Order, they are unable to learn the language.
Defences
Add your level to your Body and Foresight defences.

Spellcasting
Every Druid learns at least the basics of magic. Nature is your spellcasting skill.
Choose three Power 1 spells from the Natural Tradition, and add them to the list of spells that you know. Whenever you gain a level, choose three additional spells, whose Power does not exceed your new level, and add them to the list of spells that you know.
Your spells are powered by Æther, in the same manner as most other casters. At the beginning of every encounter, you will have Æther equal to your current Victories. If you are in a natural setting, you automatically gain one Æther at the start of your turn; otherwise, you must take a quick action to recover one Æther. Either way, you can only regain one Æther per turn, and the maximum amount of Æther that you can have is equal to your level.
Remaining Æther is lost at the end of the encounter.
Hybrid Druids
If you select Druid as a Hybrid Class, you gain their Spellcasting feature. If you are a Ranger, and a member of the Order of the Wild Hunt, add one Power 1 spell from each of the Beast and Plant Spheres to your list of spells known.
Druidic Orders
There are five Druidic Orders, although one of these—the Order of the Wild Hunt—are actually Rangers, not Druids. When you select Druid as your class, choose one of the four following Orders.
Order of the Awakened Grove
Druids of this Order focus on harnessing the raw magic of nature. They can unleash blasts of elemental energy, control the growth of plants, and commune with the spirits of the wild.
If you select the Order of the Awakened Grove, increase your Education by +1, and add the Verdant Whispers Druid feature to your character.
Order of the Spirit Wardens
This Order act as guardians of the veil between the material world and the spirit realm. They possess an innate understanding of the spirit world, its denizens, and the delicate balance between the two planes.
If you select the Order of the Spirit Wardens, increase your Charisma by +1, and add the Spirit Sight Druid feature to your character.
Order of the Thorned Circle
These druids are a thorn in the side of their enemies, using nature's magic to hinder and control their foes. They can create difficult terrain, entangle enemies in vines, and unleash blasts of disruptive energy.
If you select the Order of the Thorned Circle, increase your Dexterity by +1, and add the Marking Shot Druid feature to your character.
Order of the Wild Form
These druids are masters of metamorphosis, transforming into beasts to fight alongside their companions or scout unseen.
If you select the Order of the Wild Form, increase your Body by +1, and add the Shape Change Druid feature to your character.
Druid Features
Druids will often study the combat arts, especially those related to hunting, and will frequently improve their magical abilities. Unlike most other classes, you do not get to choose a feature when you select this class. Instead, it is chosen when you select your Order.
