You were born to a position of privilege. But now, you seek to find glory or opportunity elsewhere. Perhaps you were not the first born, and stand to inherit almost nothing. Or perhaps you were cast out of your family for one reason or another. Nonetheless, the skills you learned as part of the nobility may well prove useful as an adventurer.

When you select Noble Scion as your Back-Story, increase your Charisma by +1. Then choose any other attribute and increase it by +1 as well. You gain a +1 to either Diplomatic or Noble Prestige.

Select two of the following benefits:

• Receive one training rank in Diplomacy;
• Receive one training rank in Society;
• Gain your noble family as a Patron;
• Begin play with an additional twenty-five silver pennies;
• Gain +1 to either Diplomatic or Noble Prestige (allowing you to take one of each, or doubling up on one).
