You spent countless hours studying ancient texts, experimenting with herbs and minerals, and observing the delicate balance of the natural world. Driven by curiosity and ambition, you sought out a master alchemist and became their apprentice. Under their tutelage, you learned to harness the elements, distill potent concoctions, and manipulate substances in ways few could understand. Each day brought new challenges, but also new discoveries, as you inched closer to unlocking the secrets of alchemy.

When you select Alchemist as your Back-Story, increase your Education by +1. Then choose any other attribute, and increase it by +1 as well. Add one training rank to your Crafting skill. You gain the Alchemist general feature, but gain six alchemical formulae of your choice, rather than the usual four.

However, exposure to dangerous chemicals from a young age has taken a toll on your body. Reduce your starting Stamina by five points. Further, the various Guilds have a strong dislike of alchemists, because of their refusal to organize into a Guild—not to mention the various Concoctions that the Guilds strongly oppose. You lose one point of Guild Prestige. This can take you into negative Prestige!
