Avoid Falling Damage
Time Required: Reaction.
Trigger: You fall any distance.
Skill: Acrobatics (Trained).
You can attempt to roll with a fall, reducing the amount of damage that you take. Roll your Acrobatics, and note the total amount rolled. Subtract that number from the damage inflicted by the fall.
Eldrin failed an Athletics check to climb, and has fallen twenty meters. He'd rather not take so much damage from that fall, and so uses his reaction to Avoid Falling Damage. His Acrobatics is +2, so he rolls 2d10+2 and gets 15. The Director rolls his falling damage (6d8) and gets 29 damage total. Eldrin takes only 14 of this, thanks to his Acrobatics check.
