Combat Traits
Combat traits represent a character’s training, instincts, and experience in physical conflict. They define how a character approaches combat — whether with precision, aggression, defence, or tactical awareness — and determine the unique advantages they bring to a fight.
While combat itself is governed by the core rules of attack and defence, these traits modify those fundamentals. They can enhance accuracy, damage, mobility, resilience, or even allow entirely new manoeuvres and reactions. Characters who invest in Combat traits tend to specialize in specific fighting styles, from cautious defenders to daring duellists or relentless berserkers.
Though these traits primarily benefit warriors, any character who expects to face danger may find a few well-chosen Combat traits invaluable. Even a scholar or diplomat can survive longer by knowing how to dodge, defend, or strike when it truly matters.
