You push your body to cover as much ground as possible in a short burst, sacrificing caution and defence for speed. You move a distance equal to five times your normal Speed. During this movement, you may provoke Counterattacks, and any Counterattack against you is made with favour. You may not take reactions until the start of your next turn.
At the end of your sprint, make an Endurance skill check to determine how winded you are:
- Complete Success: You are not even winded.
- Success: You are slightly winded from the sprint, and cannot Sprint again on your next turn.
- Partial Success: You are quite winded from the sprint. You lose one point of stamina, and cannot Sprint again on your next turn.
- Failure: You are very winded. You lose two points of stamina, and cannot Run or Sprint on your next turn.
- Complete Failure: You almost collapse from exhaustion! You lose four points of stamina, and cannot take any Movement action on your next turn.
Special: A character cannot take more than one Movement action per turn.
Design Notes: Sprinting assumes that the character is moving at their maximum speed for all ten seconds of their turn, which is why they cannot take reactions.
