Skill Check: Aim
You attack a foe with a ranged weapon. The foe must be within the maximum range of your weapon. Make an Aim skill check, but if the weapon has the Thrown property, you may choose to add your Body, instead of your Dexterity, to your skill check.
- Complete Success: You score a Critical Hit, inflicting your weapon's base damage times five.
- Success: You score a Solid Hit, inflicting your weapon's base damage times three.
- Partial Success: You score a Hit, inflicting your weapon's base damage times two.
- Failure: You score a Glancing Blow, inflicting your weapon's base damage. This damage can only apply to stamina; if the target has no stamina remaining, excess damage is not transferred to health.
- Complete Failure: You Miss the target entirely, doing no damage.

Once you have Hurled your weapon, it falls at the target's feet, or in the square behind them if you missed.
Special Conditions
A target's Armour Rating is subtracted from your Aim skill check. A target wearing Heavy Armour also reduces the weapon's base damage by one.
Hurl is considered a ranged attack for all effects and traits.
