When confronted with an Hostile or Enraged foe, you can try to talk them down. Roll Coercion, with slight if the foe is Enraged.
- Complete Success: The foe is no longer Hostile or Enraged, though they still Dislike you. If their permanent Affinity was Enraged or Hostile, it improves one step.
- Success: The foe is no longer Hostile or Enraged, though they still Dislike you. This affects temporary Affinity only.
- Partial Success: If the foe was Enraged, their temporary Affinity becomes Hostile.
- Failure: You have no impact on the subject's Affinity.
- Complete Failure: You've managed to say the exact wrong thing. If the foe was Hostile, they become Enraged. You cannot use this action on the subject again for one minute.
