When faced with an armed opponent and armed only with your fists, the best defense can sometimes be a swift disarm. With practiced finesse, you can attempt to relieve your adversary of their weapon. Roll Unarmed Combat vs. your opponent's passive Reflex defence. You must have a free hand to attempt this maneuver.

• Success: You remove your foe's weapon from their grasp. It is now in your hand.
• Failure: The foe retains their weapon, but you gain favour on your next attempt to disarm them.

Special: On a success, this action grants Élan if you have that trait.
