The use of special inks, prepared parchments, and a fair bit of magical energy allows you to embed the energy needed to cast a spell into a scroll. These disposable items are very popular among spellcasters as a means of widening their available pool of spells.

Choose a single spell, and spend 5sp times the Power of the spell in order to purchase the inks and parchment. As a Down-Time action, roll Crafting against a TN of 16 plus the Power of the spell. This requires one hour per Power of the spell.

• Success: You have scribed the scroll.
• Failure: An error was made. The scroll will not work. However, you can correct it by trying the check again tomorrow. You do not have to spend any more for materials to try to correct this scroll.
