With a cursory examination of a creature, or its tracks, you single it out for special attention. Choose one creature that you can see, or whose tracks you have found using Perception as part of Tracking that Creature. That creature becomes Marked by you. This Mark persists until the creature dies or you Mark a different creature.

You take a +1 bonus to attack rolls to target that creature, as well as to Survival checks to track the creature. If combat begins with your Marked creature within your range or reach, and you have a weapon ready, you may make a basic attack against that creature as a free action before combat begins.
