Blocks: Channeling Magic, Scion Magic, Studied Magic

By consuming a rare concoction or fusing with a magical relic, you awaken the power of Empowered Magic, drawing spells into yourself rather than studying or praying for them. Choose one of the following Disciplines.

You gain one training rank in the appropriate Spellcasting skill, and your spellcasting attribute is Wisdom. Choose two Power 1 spells from your chosen Discipline, and add them to your list of spells known.

You gain one additional spell every time you increase your training ranks in your Spellcasting skill. The new spell must be chosen from your chosen Discipline, and cannot have a Power higher than your current ranks in your Spellcasting skill (after the upgrade).

You gain a pool of mana used to cast your spells. The cost in mana to cast a spell is equal to the Power of that spell, and is spent regardless of success or failure of casting the spell. Your pool of available mana is equal to your level plus your Wisdom modifier. You recover all expended mana when you Take a Short Rest.

Special: If you gained this trait by selecting the Hermit background, you must choose the Primal Discipline. This only applies if you select the Trait using one of the two traits that the background allows you to select. If you gained this trait by selecting the Spirit Caller background, you must choose the Occult Discipline.
