Additionally, Society allows you to Translate Writing, enabling you to decipher ancient texts or foreign documents. A high Society skill makes you a skilled diplomat, a savvy traveler, and a master of cultural navigation, able to move effortlessly between different social circles and linguistic communities.

You can also use Society to Gather Information if the community is large enough. You can use it to Make a Request or Make an Impression, though it is not the best choice of skill to use in these circumstances.

Lores are skills that have use only in recalling information. At times, you will need to actively engage with another person when using Society. That being said, if you wish only the knowledge and not the practical skill, you may select Society as a specialty for Lore.
