Gather Information
Time Required: One hour.
Skill: Diplomacy or Society.
Requires: You are in a community.
You spend some time talking with locals and attempting to learn something about the area. This can be used to collect rumours, learn information about local figures, or find out about available jobs. This is treated as a Recall Information check, but uses the Diplomacy or Society skill, and can have any of the following additional modifiers.

Don't be surprised if the Director requests that you explain, in detail, how exactly you managed to find that information!
Equipment
No special equipment is required to Gather Information. However, you may expend Luxury Items, to a maximum of 15sp, to improve your chances. The amount of gift items you spread out determines the bonus you receive for doing such, as described below.
