Enter an Occupied Square

Time Required: Free Action.
Trigger: You attempt to enter a square that is occupied by a foe.
Skill: Acrobatics.

Passing through an enemy's square is a sure way to provoke a Counterattack. Luckily, you can use Acrobatics to avoid provoking that Counterattack.

You may only attempt this maneuver if you would have sufficient movement remaining to then exit that square. Make an Acrobatics Skill check vs the foe's Reflex defence.

  • Success: Your movement does not provoke a Counterattack from that foe for the rest of your turn.
  • Failure: You provoke a Counterattack, and may not enter that square. You still lose the movement distance that you would have used to enter the square.
