The Draconic Bloodline is a latent power, dormant within certain bloodlines, waiting to be awakened. Those who survive an attack or slay a dragon themselves carry the curse and the gift of this primal force, which slumbers deep within them. The dragon's spirit, once a terror of the skies, leaves a trace in their blood, dormant until the day it stirs. It is passed on to their descendants, sometimes fading away over time, but other times, awakened by a terrible trauma or exposure to powerful magics.

Once the bloodline is awakened, the Scion gains a unique connection to the elemental forces of the world—earth, fire, air, and water—often manifesting in bursts of raw Primal magic. The power is not always under their control, and its overwhelming force can be both a blessing and a curse. The lingering essence of the dragon calls to them, urging them to embrace its strength and power, and the marks of their transformation may leave them forever marked by the creature’s terrible legacy. Whether they control this force or are consumed by it is left to the Scion’s will.

Dragons are always attuned to one of the four classical elements, and are associated with a damage type based on that attunement. Choose one of the following from the list below. Once chosen, you cannot change your Element. Note that each Element also includes a Complement and an Opposition. This can affect your spellcasting.
