Goblins
Goblins are notorious for their remarkable agility and quickness, traits that allow them to move with a grace that surprises even the most seasoned adventurers. Their nimbleness enables them to dart through shadows, slip between narrow spaces, and evade danger with an ease that makes them formidable opponents in their own right. This innate speed is coupled with a keen awareness of their surroundings, as Goblins are always looking for opportunities to exploit their environment for an advantage. Whether it's using the terrain to gain the upper hand in a fight or finding creative ways to solve problems, their agility is a hallmark of their mischievous nature.
In addition to their physical prowess, Goblins possess a sharp mind, often outwitting foes through clever problem-solving and quick thinking. Their ability to devise ingenious solutions to complex challenges is second to none. A Goblin’s mind works in ways that others might find unconventional, always seeking an unexpected path to success. This intelligence, combined with their resourcefulness, allows them to thrive in chaotic situations where others might falter. They may not always follow the rules or conventional wisdom, but they certainly make up for it with their ability to think on their feet and find a way out of tight spots.
However, this cleverness often comes with a downside: Goblins are notoriously impulsive. They are driven by whims and desires that can lead them into situations others would carefully plan for. This impulsiveness makes them unpredictable and prone to acting before fully considering the consequences of their actions. As a result, they are often caught up in comical misadventures or create chaos in their wake. Their tendency to leap headfirst into risky endeavors is what often gets them into trouble, but it is also what makes them so exciting to be around. Every decision seems to carry the potential for a surprising outcome, whether it's a stroke of genius or an unmitigated disaster.
Despite their impulsivity, Goblins are never boring. Their reckless bravery, combined with their swift reflexes and quick wit, makes them both valuable allies and unpredictable adversaries. While they may be prone to missteps, their ability to learn from their experiences and adapt on the fly ensures they always keep you guessing, whether you love or loathe them. It's this blend of agility, intelligence, and impulsivity that makes Goblins such compelling characters in any world they inhabit.

Features
Size: Goblins are fairly small compared to humans, averaging 110cm in height and weighing around 40 kilograms. They are Scale -1 creatures. This impacts them in a number of ways:
- Due to their smaller muscles, Goblins suffer a -1 penalty to Athletics skill checks.
- Their smaller frame provides a Goblin with a +1 bonus to Reflex defence and a +2 bonus to Stealth.
- Goblins need much less material to cover themselves, so they pay half as much for armour.
Walking Speed: 5 meters. A Goblin's lanky limbs give it surprising speed and reach.
Stamina: Goblins begin play with 25 Stamina, plus an amount equal to their Strength bonus.
Recovery Dice: Goblins begin play with two six-sided (2d6) Recovery dice.
Resourceful: Goblins have an innate knack for finding deals and crafting makeshift solutions. When they Craft an Item, they pay only one-quarter the cost of the item in raw materials, instead of one-third. Once per day, a Goblin can take a four-second action to rummage through their possessions and pull out any toolkit with exactly one use remaining. Once you use this ability, you cannot use it again until the next time you take Down-Time in a friendly community.
Skill Training: Choose three of the following skills: Blades, Crafting, Unbalanced Weapons, Deception, Investigation, Perception, Sleight of Hand, Society, Stealth. You receive one training rank in each of the selected skills.
