Soldier
Combining ranged combat, melee capability, and at least a bit of resistance, the Soldier is a general-purpose combatant, typically serving as a community guard or as a shock trooper.
Attributes
Soldiers will require a decent Agility, as well as a good Body or Dexterity, depending on their choices of weapons.

Stamina
When you select this class for your foe, it gains ten stamina, plus five times its Level.
Training
The Soldier is Trained in Perception. In addition, choose one ranged and one melee weapon skill. The Soldier is also Trained in those skills. Common combinations include:
- Blades and Bows;
- Polearms and Thrown;
- Unbalanced and Sling.
Defences
Add the foe's Level to its Agility defence, and also to its Dexterity defence.
Basic Attacks
Melee: Skill vs. Agility
- Hit: 2[W] + Body. Damage dice increases to 3[W] at Level 3, and to 4[W] at Level 5.
- Miss: 1[W] + Body.
Ranged: Skill vs. Agility
- Hit: 2[W] + Dexterity. Damage dice increases to 3[W] at Level 3, and to 4[W] at Level 5.
- Miss: 1[W] + Dexterity.
