Brute

The Brute is a straightforward combat machine, as uncomplicated as it is effective. Brute monsters wade straight into the melee and begin causing harm, often heedless of their own safety.

Attributes

Obviously, the Brute prioritizes Body over any other attribute, but they typically match it with Agility. After all, they can survive longer if they are not being struck as frequently.

Stamina

When you select this class for your foe, it gains fifteen stamina, plus five times its Level.

Training

The Brute is Trained in Perception. In addition, choose two weapon skills. The Brute is also Trained in these skills.

Defences

Add the foe's Level to its Body defence, and also to its Foresight defence.

Basic Attacks

The Brute is most potent in melee range.

Melee: Skill vs. Agility

  • Hit: 2[W] + Body. Damage dice increases by +1[W] for each level after 1st.
  • Miss: 1[W] + Body.

Ranged: Skill vs. Agility

  • Hit: 2[W] + Dexterity. Damage dice increases to 3[W] at Level 4.
  • Miss: 1[W] + Dexterity.
