Deep within the dense, vibrant jungles of Kanglei, the Vrang thrive in a world of ancient, primal instincts. This small, canine-like humanoid species is recognizable by their distinctive dark striped fur, which blends seamlessly into the shadows of their native habitat. Fearless and formidable, the Vrang are known for their aggressive nature, forged through generations of survival in the unforgiving jungle environment. Living in harmony with nature, yet untouched by modern civilization, the Vrang lead a primitive lifestyle that is both captivating and intimidating to outsiders. Their enigmatic presence beckons exploration, but beware: the Vrang are not to be trifled with.

The Vrang are one of the few sentient r-selection species known. They live for only around fifteen years, and are mature by one year. They are born in litters of four to eight pups, and most littermates are close to one another. They have a strong tendency to live in the moment, and have little appreciation for art or culture.

The Vrang are known for their speed and balance. They gain a +1 bonus to Agility. However, because they are not used to dealing with illusions or with technology more primitive than flint and bone, they suffer an ancestral -1 to their Education Defence.

A Vrang starts with five stamina, due to their small size. However, they are remarkably fleet of foot, and skilled climbers, courtesy of their claws. They have a speed of six, and a Climbing speed equal to their ground speed.

All Vrang start with natural weapons. They can bite for d6 Blunt damage, or claw for d4 Blunt damage. They get a +1 bonus to attack rolls when using their claws. In addition, choose one of the following features for every level the Vrang has, plus one additional (so that even a Level 0 Mook Vrang gets one feature).
