Intent: Oatmeal stout.

Grain Bill

  • 2250g Briess 2-row barley malt.
  • 450g Simpsons roasted malt.
  • 450g Crystal 120L.
  • 450g Munich.
  • 450g flaked oats.

Non-Grain Ingredients

  • 28g Fuggle hops
  • 11.5g SafAle S-04.
  • 300ml espresso.

Process

14 litres in large kettle; 7 litres in small kettle. Mash-in at 68°C, maintain at 66°C.
