Intent: Oatmeal porter.

Grain Bill

  • 1350g Viking Pale malt.
  • 900g Oat malt.
  • 450g Chocolate malt.

Process

Strike water 75°C. This proved too hot; the mash never cooled properly. Resulting wort was not sufficiently sweet. The yeast starved to death.
