Speak with Plants

Despite its name, Speak with Plants does not actually allow two-way communication with simple plants. Most plants are so far below sapience as to be impossible to communicate with. You can, however, tap into the rudimentary forms of communication that many plants offer. This grants you the following benefits:

• A +4 bonus to your Perception TN if any creature attempts to approach you by stealth and must move through any kind of plant.
• A +4 bonus to your Perception when you Keep a Watch.
• A +2 bonus to Survival skill checks made to Track a Creature if there are any plants in the area.
• A +2 bonus to Nature skill checks made concerning any sort of plant.
• A +1 bonus to any other non-Combat skill check made where the subject of the skill check is a plant.

In addition, you can verbally communicate with any sapient creature that has the Plant property, even if it also has the Alien property.
