You perform a five-minute-long ritual, using two or three modes of divination, to draw as much information out of the web of fate as you can. You must choose a subject for the spell: a location, a person, a creature or an object. Roll your Spellcasting skill vs. a TN of 18.
The Director's answers need not be encyclopediac, or ever particularly detailed, but they should be at least one full sentence, and the Director cannot lie, or omit important information. “Are there orcs in the crypt?” leaves little room for interpretation; “How many orcs in the crypt?” could be answered with “five times your party's numbers”, which leaves a bit of room for wiggle. “Is the Stone of Kerzod found within the crypt?” could be answered with this spell; “Where in the crypt is the Stone of Kerzod found?” might be answered, “In the enbalming room”, with no more details offered.
