With a single touch, you drain the vital force from your victim and transfer a portion of it to yourself. Make a Spellcasting skill check vs. your target's Agility defence.

• Success: The target takes 3d4 Vital damage. You heal an amount of damage equal to half the damage inflicted. Unlike most healing effects, this healing is applied to missing hit points first.
• Failure: The target takes 1d4 Vital damage.

This spell will only work on living creatures. It will not function on golems, constructs, elementals or the undead (save for Vampires, who view this spell as the most diabolical invention since…themselves).
