A character with a Diplomat's Kit can expend some of its value to produce forgeries, or to grant gifts to potential allies. Each such use consumes varying worth of the value of the kit, but the kit cannot be reduced below 5sp. You can re-invest the consumables in the kit, or just replace it outright.
