A foe that attacks you must lower their guard to do so, and this is the perfect time to strike. When a foe attacks you, you may spend one Panache and use your Reaction to make a basic melee attack against them. If either of the d10s you roll on your Riposte come up showing a natural ten, the foe's attack is interrupted.
