You are able to examine a situation and formulate a plan to deal with it. Choose a single action that requires a skill check (this can include an attack) and a single target. Then roll two ten-sided dice, and reserve them.
If you choose, before the end of your current turn, to take the specified action with the specified target, you must use the two reserved dice for that action's skill check, rather than rolling. You cannot use these reserved dice for any other action.
If you choose not to use the reserved dice, you may not take the specified action with the specified target. You may attempt a different action against that target, or you may attempt the same action against a different target, or you can choose to do something else entirely.
The reserved dice are discarded at the end of your current turn.
