Beyond simply learning to be accurate with your fists, you have now begun to learn how to be effective against an armed opponent. You gain the following benefits:
You may use Dexterity or Agility, instead of Strength, as the controlling attribute for Unarmed Combat.
When you make an Unarmed Combat attack against a foe with a weapon, you no longer provoke a Counterattack.
If your foe has a shield, you no longer suffer slight on your attack roll.
You may use Unarmed Combat to Counterattack, even if your hands are full.
