When a foe commits to an attack, there is a momentary opening.  You have learned to take advantage of that opening.

As a reaction to being missed by an attack, you may spend one Grit.  If you do so, make a melee basic attack against the foe that attacked you.  You may spend a second Grit to make this a free reaction.
