No matter what the situation, you planned for it, and have just the gear you need.  When you purchase any equipment, you may reserve up to twenty silver pennies.  During any encounter, you may spend one Gnosis and three seconds to pull out any single piece of mundane equipment.  Deduct the cost of the item from your reserve.  If your reserve is not completely consumed, you can return it to your available currency.
