====== Spacecraft Design Rules ======

To design a new spacecraft for The Shattered Worlds, follow the procedure listed below.

  - Choose the [[shattered:design:displacement]] of the spacecraft, and make a note of its Linear and Area Values, and Slot Volume.
  - Decide if your ship needs to be [[shattered:design:streamlining|streamlined]].
  - Add [[shattered:design:armour]].
  - Install the [[shattered:design:basic_equipment|basic equipment]] needed for all spacecraft.
  - Add [[shattered:design:Propulsors]].
  - Add [[shattered:design:jump_drive|Jump Drive and fuel]].
  - Add [[shattered:design:crew spaces]].
  - Install [[shattered:design:electronics|advanced electronics]].
